Media Forensics¶
Media forensics encompasses techniques for detecting manipulation, forgery, splicing, and other alterations to digital images and videos. Methods range from detecting statistical artifacts introduced by compression and generation algorithms to identifying inconsistencies in lighting, perspective, and physical properties.
