Online activism¶
Online activism leverages digital platforms, social media, and internet technologies to organize, mobilize, and sustain social and political movements. Digital platforms enable rapid information dissemination, coordination across geography, and community building around shared causes. However, this openness also makes activist networks vulnerable to infiltration and manipulation through bots, inauthentic coordination, and computational propaganda.
