Media Authentication¶
Techniques and standards for verifying that media (images, audio, video) are genuine, unmodified, and created by a claimed source. This includes both forensic analysis of existing media for signs of manipulation, and proactive authentication schemes (like C2PA) that cryptographically sign media at the point of capture.
