Gab is a social media platform claiming to prioritize free speech with minimal content moderation. Launched in 2016, it has attracted users critical of content policies on mainstream platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Low moderation and minimal algorithmic curation distinguish Gab from mainstream social networks, creating a different information environment despite structural similarities to Twitter.
